Qalyubia Governorate is one of the governorates of Egypt and its capital is the city of Banha. Qalyubia Governorate is located in the eastern Nile region at the head of the Delta and is bordered to the south by Cairo Governorate and Giza Governorate, to the north by Dakahlia and Gharbia Governorates, to the east by Sharqia Governorate, and to the west by Menoufia Governorate.
